Week 11 and 12

It's been a long time that I haven't update my blog due to many assignments and projects. Past few weeks was fun and we had to do a series of greeting cards. We all have to choose our own theme, design, colours and etc. This is my progress and the final product of my cards. Enjoy !

Week 10

Hello guys! Recap on last week assignment. We were asked to do a colour wheel and we managed to make it move and Ms. Lisa liked it as well as our classmates. This is the progress picture from the beginnning. Enjoy!

Week 9

Before I begin to write about our next assignment, this is the individual activity we had to do before we begin doing our group assignment.

Its a colour palette. The top picture is a cool temperature while the bottom one is warm temperature. And our work was graded by 3 coloumns of words. The coloumns are very good, not good, and moderate. My work was placed at very good. Thank you Ms. Lisa :)

Now we begin with the second assignment.

Hello guys! This week we have decided what are we going to make for the 2nd assignment. We choose DNA. Yes, DNA guys. I cant explain it to you guys in this post because its going to be a suprise. But we really hope that it will work and and you guys and Ms. Lisa will love it and you guys could play with it as well.

Week 8

Monday.

Hello readers! This week activity was fun yet simple. We were asked to interpret colours and use a specific fonts to describe the colour. In the end, Ms. Lisa only liked one of the colours and the type of font that im using and that is ORDER and its between DANGER and CREATIVITY. Here are the pictures of the colours and fonts.

Tuesday.

Today we were asked to get into groups of 5 or 6 and my group consists of 6 people including me and the group members are Syamim, Jun Nian, Aliff, Hoi Jun, Alvin and Me. Our assignment for this week is COLOUR WHEEL . And yes we already decided what to make and hopefully it will work and it will be beautiful if its working. So, here is our ideas and guess which one is our final cut.

Week 7

Hola, Konichiwa, Vanakkam, Selamat Sore, Hallo, Hoi, Guten Tag, Ohayo Gozaimas, 

Salem and Hello. This week we had to do a couple in-class activity which Ms. Lisa order us to do a brochure. So, me and Jun Nian decided to go to the office and take some brochures and flyers about courses that Taylor's offers to future students. We decided to make something like Riddler from Batman Forever style. We make a sentences by cutting an alphabets from a different fonts and sizes and glue them together. Our main colour was PINK because our topic was Circus and pink just pop-out of our mind when it comes to Circus and pink resembles joy and fun and our words was full of colour. This this the outcome of what we did in this week class.

Week 6

This week Ms. Lisa gave us an assignment to made a cut out art. This is what i did for the last few days.

UPDATES!

Yesterday we presented our cut outs and some of my classmate did really well, i mean REALLY WELL! I like Ilona's,  Zachary's, Chia's and Doreen's cut out. It was AMAZING and mine was kind of not good and bad. So here is my work

if you can see the upper picture carefully, there's a buffalo. It was a random cut and it turned out to be like this.

this is about a bird that flew away from the city because its too crowded, noisy and full of 'pollutions'.

Week 5

Today we learnt about GRID. Yes! It's the squares that you see on you camera and for organizing article or also known as the 'invisible' box on the newspaper.

This is what I did in class earlier and now I know why it is imperative to make pictures and words look balance so that the readers know what they read and where did they stop. Will update the progress as soon as posibble when I finish the assignment by the end of this week.

So this is the final product that i did on the weekends and Ms. Lisa liked it. She said I did a great job because my gutter was nice and proper, the margin was perfect and I didnt know that I did a good job on this assignment :)
