Week 7

Hola, Konichiwa, Vanakkam, Selamat Sore, Hallo, Hoi, Guten Tag, Ohayo Gozaimas, 

Salem and Hello. This week we had to do a couple in-class activity which Ms. Lisa order us to do a brochure. So, me and Jun Nian decided to go to the office and take some brochures and flyers about courses that Taylor's offers to future students. We decided to make something like Riddler from Batman Forever style. We make a sentences by cutting an alphabets from a different fonts and sizes and glue them together. Our main colour was PINK because our topic was Circus and pink just pop-out of our mind when it comes to Circus and pink resembles joy and fun and our words was full of colour. This this the outcome of what we did in this week class.

Week 6

This week Ms. Lisa gave us an assignment to made a cut out art. This is what i did for the last few days.

UPDATES!

Yesterday we presented our cut outs and some of my classmate did really well, i mean REALLY WELL! I like Ilona's,  Zachary's, Chia's and Doreen's cut out. It was AMAZING and mine was kind of not good and bad. So here is my work

if you can see the upper picture carefully, there's a buffalo. It was a random cut and it turned out to be like this.

this is about a bird that flew away from the city because its too crowded, noisy and full of 'pollutions'.

Week 5

Today we learnt about GRID. Yes! It's the squares that you see on you camera and for organizing article or also known as the 'invisible' box on the newspaper.

This is what I did in class earlier and now I know why it is imperative to make pictures and words look balance so that the readers know what they read and where did they stop. Will update the progress as soon as posibble when I finish the assignment by the end of this week.

So this is the final product that i did on the weekends and Ms. Lisa liked it. She said I did a great job because my gutter was nice and proper, the margin was perfect and I didnt know that I did a good job on this assignment :)

Week 3 and 4

WEEK 3
In week 3, we were asked to cut out a black mounting board to a fixed length that was given by Ms. Lisa. This was the frame that I used for the in-class activity.

We were given a choice what do we want to take and i choose faces and yes I have to go ask and approach someone and asking their permission if I could take thier photo or not. And all of the people I asked, all of them were supporting. Thank you so much for helping me to complete my activity. Then Ms. Lisa told us that we have to take 30 more pictures outside of campus and I did.  This is the picture that I took during the task. Enjoy!

WEEK 4
Okay. So we just finished doing our furnitures that is a swing and a hanging lamp. We didn't expected it to turn out to be pretty and neat. So this it the link to the video. I didn't put the video in here because it can't be uploaded here. This is the link to my YouTube account.

We had fun doing this project and we had to sacrifice our weekends and we had to go to campus early in the morning just to finished it up. We turned an unused rocking chair from my uncle and changed it to a swing and Marc drank all the beers just to make the lamp and he was having FUN.

Week 2

Okay. For this week, Ms. Lisa's already asked us to form a group of 5 or 6 for a group assignment. We get to choose our own member, so I decided to pick out Alya, Arasi, Ilona, Priya and Marc. Ms. Lisa's picked a topic and we have to make a furniture out of thrown or unused item. This is our unfinish furniture. It's still in progress though

At this moment, we've just finished our discussion on what furniture are we going to make and we decided to make a swing and a hanging lamp. I think that's all from me today. I'll update soon if I have anything to update about this assignment.
